Both styles fit true to size. Use the size guide on its product page to determine your Italian size. If you are between sizes, we suggest going down to the nearest whole size. We make whole Italian sizes 35-43.

Hugo has a 40mm low, slightly flared heel. Joan Boot has a 2 inch block heel.
Is Hugo High the same boot with a taller shaft?
Hugo High carries the elongated square toe and low, slightly flared heel into a tall, pull-on silhouette. Its shaft is meant to sit just below the knee with a slightly slouchy look. The ankle boot uses an inside zipper. See Hugo High Black for its current details and sizing.
