LABUCQ

Lauren grew up in Colorado, studied at Parsons, and joined Rag & Bone as their first intern. She left twelve years later as Director of Footwear and Accessories, having launched and overseen what became a massive global footwear trend.

She went independent as a consultant in 2016, moved to Los Angeles, and started Labucq in 2018.

She makes shoes in Italy, with partners who have become like family, using materials that feel beautiful from the first wear and get better with time. She strives to give customers shoes elevated enough to feel special, but wearable enough for everyday American life. Nothing goes into production she can’t see herself in.
