Don’t buy - PAINFUL and impossible to wear
I have had these shoes for a while now and every time I wear them I get horrible blisters to the point that it’s quite unbearable to wear the shoes. I thought I would be able to break them in but alas, six months later, I still get fresh wounds every time I wear them - even after taking them to a cobbler to have the leather conditioned an extra time. Would absolutely not recommend, especially as they are not understanding with return policies.
Hi Sofia, We're sorry to hear that you've had such a tough time with your Mika Loafers. It's unusual for this shoe to not break in with wear. We did try to help you find a new style that might work better for your feet, but we did not hear back from you again. We apologize that we weren't able to assist further to make your experience with Labucq a more positive one. Even though we are well past the return window on these, we'd be happy to work something out for you. We'll be reaching out via email shortly. Warmly, Labucq
So beautiful but painful
These shoes are so nice but each time I wore them I would get terrible blisters on my heels and toes even when I added heel pads. The leather is hard to break in. On the last time I wore bandaids and within walking 5 blocks the friction tore the skin off both my heels. ): I really tried to wear them and I’m so sad I can’t.
Gorgeous shoes, but ran large for me
I absolutely loved the Mika loafer in ivory—so cool, and the ivory color is really versatile. I only knocked off a star because I found them to run quite large for me. I’m typically a 7.5 and ordered a 38, and they were slipping off my heels with every step. So sad! Once the 37 is back in stock, I’ll try that size. But they really are beautiful and clearly well made shoes.
